EXCERPT FROM THE STUDY
The flow of goods and persons is at the heart of transportation. Given that it is an operation that allows an individual or a corporation to offer a service to another, it stands to reason that there must be rules of engagement or an idea of the type of partnership that should guide and apply to the undertaking. Education, social services, health care, industry, business, and trade are all made easier with transportation (Amegashie, 2015; Yeboah, 2015). Various studies have shown, for example, that the number of workers in a city's downtown area has a greater impact on public transportation (paratransit) than virtually any other factor i.e. (Barnes, 2005 cited in Yeboah 2015). The demand for travel exists in a multifaceted setting. Other dimensions of preference, such as residential and work venue, household vehicle possession, the time of day when trips are taken, parking areas, and the period of activities during which travel is performed, have recently received further interest from researchers, resulting in the introduction of the tricycle (Barnes, 2005 cited in Yeboah 2015).
